Dr. J. Gregory Sabol was raised in Ohio and received both his Bachelor's degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from The Ohio State University. He completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, and then moved to Nashville, TN, to attend Vanderbilt University for six years of further training including a medical degree from Vanderbilt University Medical School, an intern year of General Surgery, and specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Sabol is proud to call Phoenix home. He holds medical staff privileges at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix Children's Hospital, and the Scottsdale Healthcare System. He currently holds a Faculty Position with the Maricopa Integrated Surgical Residency Program - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Services. He is also a faculty member associated with the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center. He practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, and his professional interests include wisdom tooth removal, patient anesthesia, maxillofacial trauma, corrective jaw surgery, surgery for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, cosmetic eye procedures, and dental implant placement.
Dr. Sabol is an avid runner who enjoys competitive road racing, a passion retained from his college years as a varsity athlete for the The Ohio State Buckeyes in track and cross country. He also enjoys golf, hiking, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two children.
